Unclasp your hands

Do you detect signs you’re being encouraged to get your act together? Have you long wanted to make what you see as 'the right choices' or, would you prefer to do things just to feel happy? If you desire to be right, this is your ego’s request. If you focus on what it takes to feel happy, this is the voice of your Spirit. You can be grateful for lessons available all around you. Interact with people. Do you get occupied for no particular reason? One can get used to anything and everything.  Open your senses.

What is necessary for you to be convinced of the presence of Divine helpers? Maybe you need no persuasion. Few things inspire the human spirit like hope. That morning light you sense out of the corner of your eye, is it a ray of sunshine or, could it be something supernatural? During hardship, do you have impressions that powerful, reassuring feelings is real? We each place ourselves willingly in our circumstances.

You can only imagine how different you may seem at different phases of your evolution, that is, until you actually experience it, and realize it. Part of your role is to discover your reasons to live. If you question your meaning and purpose, it’s up to you to pick out signs around you. What would you describe as a miracle? Apparent Divine assistance? Do you accept your life conditions as normal? Do you ever really know where you’re going? Would you like a better idea? You can grasp one.

Do you clasp your hands and settle into your life as you've always seen it, as if you have no control? You may fear complacency. It may seem more natural to rebel. But, rebel against what? What you know? What you've always done? If you're wise, you won't revert back to the way you used to live. Instead, you'll act to unclasp your hands.  Take steps to build your life as it truly ought to be.

Nothing endures in impermanence. You can succeed for a long time in living an illusion. At certain periods in your life, you may get nostalgic about the past. You may dream about the way things were. Anything you take for granted may suddenly vanish. You can be changed forever. You decide what has meaning and what will interconnect in your life.  Recognize also how you obscure your own truth.

Self-indulgence or something else?

Many people dream of success that takes form as the result of self-indulgence. Are you the kind of person who measures success by the way you give into your own desires, passions, and whims, with little or no restraint? Or, would success for you be more about filtering out what is appealing, about resisting temptation and exerting tighter control on your choices? Perhaps success means other things to you?

Consider to reach a level of satisfaction in everything you do, you could take the attitude that you will aspire to possess nothing, to desire to become nothing, and to learn nothing. You could also take other stands. To evolve into what you're not, you must make choices that direct you to roles and traits you don't desire to adopt. If you wish to succeed one way or the other, its up to you to define what it means.

Choosing the path of self-denial won't likely get you what you want. More often than not, people model habits and choices of those people around them. How do you know your version of success is truly your own? Its up to you to define how it connects to the uniqueness of your own soul. Explore the significance of remaining silent.

Your secret life

Your angel is aware of the secret life that you know about deep inside your soul.  This includes those things you mean to do and those things you may choose to forget.  Consider releasing any negative feelings you withold.  The more you listen to yourself, the more you'll discover inside.

Although you may not realize it, your angel is always working with you.  You may stumble upon a way to get in touch with an old friend, and discover this friend really needs you.  The timing couldn't be better.  Would this merely be coincidence?  Could it not be something more?

In the secret world of association, certain connections aren't easily explained. Some Earthly assumptions include, "planets must've been aligned" or "a little bird told me."  Why do thoughts of a person come into your mind just before that same person phones you? Why would you dream of a family member who is experiencing hardship or a health problem and then learn that's true?

Open your mind to the possibility that your angel grants you as much understanding as you need.  You are never alone.  Believe you walk beside a source of support and encouragement.  Angels exist to help guide you to sources of your own truth. They invite you to step outside experiences of false-belonging so you create a sense of place where your soul feels most comfortable.

As you hear an inner voice that points you to renewing activities, you awaken the power of an invisible world and expand horizons of more than your imagination.

Angels are messengers, but sometimes we misunderstand their language.  ~Linda Solegato

Drop achor & set sail

Certain mindsets and ideas may hold us down like an anchor keeps a ship in one place.  Do you feel like a prisoner in shallow or stagnant water? External influences might orient your focus, and prevent you from realizing different ways you can value and expand yourself.  Learn to make choices that enable you to energize.  Find ways to see through reasons that impose guilt or fear.

Did you know that you can free yourself from the mindsets and attitudes which hold you back?  Sometimes, its hard to gain a sense of your true bearings.  Yet, until you discern for yourself how, where and why you're caught in a bind, you will be unable to free yourself.  You won't see a need to free yourself or change your point of view.  Decide you wish to move ahead. Open your eyes.  Unleash your senses.

True knowing goes beyond your perceived projection, impressions or expectations.  You direct your own pace and timing for self-disclosure.  You can decide anything is possible.  As you reflect on your attitude and choices, you can discover how instructive it really is.  What have you learned from your decision-making and the results it has brought? Its never too late to learn more.  Its never too late to uncover ideas that cage you, or to break free of your limitations.

If you hear nothing, you may notice nothing.  Imperceptibly, you may close yourself off from your potential.  Adopt a more positive attitude.  Begin to see the appeal of learning and rediscovering new aspects of your true self.  You build your own walls. You can tear them down.  You are captain of your ship.  This means you can choose to raise anchor and set sail at will.  Awaken to the mystery of being truly alive.

Rich or poor: true wealth

Why do we judge and make assumptions about the rich and the poor? Consider this story to step back and reflect about who may truly be living who's dreams...

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the purpose of showing his son how the poor people live so he could be thankful for his kind of wealth. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what the father saw as a very poor family.

During their return journey, the father asked his son, "How was the trip for you?" "It was great, Dad." "Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked. "Oh, yeah" said the son.   The father was curious.  "So, what exactly did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered, "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end." "We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night." "Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon." "We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight." "We have servants who serve us, but they serve others." "We buy our food, but they grow theirs." "We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them." With this the boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are."

This story shows us how different perspectives and perceptions exist.  Rather than ask yourself why you aren't living someone else's dreams, why not focus on why you aren't living your own? You would benefit from discovering how you think and why.
