Positive thinking is a skill you can nurture inside yourself. This requires that you don't permit negative feelings to control your mind. People you meet may seem behave in ways that aim to provoke you. How do you react? Do you typically find yourself on the defensive or, do you brush off negative comments, stunts and vibes, because you see beyond the test to what you gain?
Many people recall when others have "rubbed them the wrong way," swindled them or, done something which evoked hard feelings. How do you choose to see these kinds of situations? You can see them as a challenge or, as a means for you to reframe what you might of thought was initially important. Positive thinking is all about learning to reframe events and see the benefits.
Make a point of reflecting back on at least two situations which have distracted you from your desired focus or peace of mind. Consider your initial impressions, impulsive reactions and what you would or wouldn't do again if there was "a next time." How will you plan ahead? Take the time you need to learn lessons.
As you decide to percieve your life as a process of learning experiences, then you'll discern new opportunities to make new kinds of choices. Optimism is a choice. Hope is a choice. Living and learning is another choice. Your life can be what you make of it. Ignore distractions that lead you off your desired path. Firgure out what it is and prosper. Attitude sets the stage.
