If one of your dreams happens to be to develop or sharpen paranormal skills (i.e., psychokinesis, extra-sensory perception, telepathy or others), you may wonder if you're in the right place.  This isn't exactly Hogwort's School of Magic, but even if you're not a wizard, a divination professor, a martial arts master or a PhD in parapsychology, you'll get out of this what you decide you will.  People may prompt you to reflect on whether you're in your "right mind."  That's only for you to say.

You may have heard people suddenly discover innate skills they never tapped into.  Some people recognize the supernatural significance of hearing voices from a young age.  Other adults only begin to sense heightened vibrations later, as part of a journey where they learn to listen to themselves and rediscover what they've always knew.  Whatever point you may be on your path, the timing might not have been right before.  Your level of self-knowledge and understanding may not have been where it had to be, until now.  Its not simply curiosity that gets people to learn. There must be more. Consider these five ideas to progress into heightened realms:

1) Faith won't deliver you from lessons to learn, but it will carry you through.  Identify habits and beliefs that agitate or trigger negative vibes inside you.  As you discern and replace those negative behaviors with more positive thoughts and action, you will simultaneously nurture faith that can carry over and strengthen your confidence in more esoteric pursuits.  Everything you think, feel and do is inter-connected.  That includes what appears to you to be visible or invisible.

2) Rather than focus on an obstacles, become solutions-oriented.  You need to learn to trust in what seems to go on around you and accept its part of a puzzle.  You project images and feel sensations to give you opportunities to learn.  Accept and embrace events whether or not you seem to get your way.  Assume that every situation is preparing you for promotions you may not even begin to imagine.  Stretching yourself may make you feel uneasy, but as you eliminate negative vibes and keep the right attitude, you'll emerge far better off than before.

3) Celebrate other people's victories and evolve into your own.  Whatever your goal, you can always learn valuable wisdom from people who've experienced similar things before.  Some of their stories are written in books.  To seek diverse sources of wisdom is always in your interest.  Other stories are shared during seminars, audio CDs, on DVDs, local meetings, during interviews or informal discussions.  Internet forums and audio podcasts also offer insight.  How and where will you seek out what you believe that you would like to learn next? Whom will you approach?

4) Instead of consciously seeking approval, choose to follow your pathYou arrived where you are because you truly want to be here.  You may wish to prove something to yourself.  You may wish to defy stereotypes or win the approval of others.  People may want you to feel that you're making a mistake, that you're not going to make it, that your efforts will serve no meaningful purpose.  Your circumstances and mindset only change as you open up and surmount fear.  So long as you listen to and follow your source of passion, you will always be motivated.

5) As you're guided by things beyond, realize you're where you're meant to be.  Your steps are being directed.  You have the strength to be here and the foresight to expect positive and uplifting ways to serve.  You can choose to exert a positive influence and to get a handle on your own situation.   As you learn to be sensitive and pay attention during meditation and everyday life, you realize you can make choices to be guided and to make your life more fulfilling.  Look for the good.  Focus on what you're doing that feels right.  You'll know when you get confirmation.
