Tune into a deeper purpose

Many people are conditioned to create a vision for a happy life and set out to realize it. Such a vision tends to include a profession and situation imagined to be fulfilling.  And yet, as life challenges arise, shake us up, our experience deepens, and curiosity arises.  People can go through whatever formalities are deemed necessary in life, but these never interfere with what is most important. When ready, we choose to go beyond the familliar to uncover something more.

As we realize we create our lives, it dawns that we also have the power to change how we create and what we see. It also grows clearer that some people create a bigger illusion of importance for themselves than others. Adopted filters block seeing more clearly. To allow ourselves to develop is to grow conscious of our capacity to look at things differently.  When ready, it dawns that laying a foundation for a whole new life is unrelated to conditioned ideas of who we are.

We exist for those for whom we exist.  Every encounter we create to help us recognize perception, explore new connections and opportunities for growth.  To perceive what is really going on in our lives and the Universe, one need only look into one's self without filters.  Everything we devise arises so we get-to-know thoughts, feelings, emotions and aspects of Self often missed.  Everything we uncover depends on the purity of our thoughts and the motive for asking.  All experience invites us to tap into more confidence so we do what feels right even if it scares us.

In Harry Potter: The Philosopher's Stone, some characters say "there is no such thing as magic."  Those that experience a different reality hold a different view on magic and what is possible. The wizard Dumbledore says, "The time comes Harry when we must choose between what is right and what is easy."

Listen to the breath speak

How often do we hear breath speak and truly listen? Here is an insight shared by a Rabbi:

The name of God back in the day was Yahweh because breath was life. Give it a go.  As we breathe in, we make a sound similar to 'Yah' and out sounds like 'weh.' That's how God got that name. Originally, it was believed that every time a human being took a breath, we are praising the name of the Creator.

Imagine that every creature on this planet, whether they know it or not, says the name of the creator in the language of every breath. Imagine the impact of consciously reminding ourselves this is also the first thing we say when we are born in abody and the last thing said when the physical body dies and soul moves on. Every moment of every day, we are voicing who we are under and through our own breath.

Tap into dragon power

A woman bends to enter a jagged rocky archway into underground caverns. She wears a suit of armour, is short and shivers.  As she goes deeper, she grows in size and walks with straighter posture.  She enters a dingy and floats along an underground river. She sees her reflection in a waterfall and chooses to discard the armour. It is heavy and weighs her down until she lets it go. She jumps into wavy river, swims through the waterfall and discovers a hidden world of fire-breathing dragons. She fears the heat of the fire until she tames and befirends a dragon.

Heading underground suggests we harbour secrets, wish to hide away from the world or, perhaps fearlessly delve more deeply into what is bothering us beneath the surface. Ask what feels threatening and whether we recently escaped (or have memories of escaping) from a perilous situation.

Armour and dragons symbolize protection. If we fear connection, we may unconsciously create physical distance in relationships or, shut people out emotionally.  We may forget how to connect, shield our heart due to past hurt and distrust, or never have had role models for emotional connection.  We always have the choice to let go of what weighs us down and experience the natural flow of energy within and around us.

Waterways echo the state of our emotions. Choosing to navigate through changing life conditions builds resilience.  Emotions are our gauge for how well we are dealing with whatever arises. If we consciously regulate our breathing, as we do when we swim under and above water, we control how we respond to unforeseen events.  Deeper breathing allows us to respond calmly rather than feel stressed and shaken up.  How we breathe reflects our emotions and to what degree we allow them to control our body and mind.

Waterfalls invite us to purge thoughts and situations that no longer serve us. We are ready to let go on a whole new level. We may feel compelled to do a detox, to shift gears in areas of our life, focus of our energies and attention in new directions.  We are  drawn to what feels natural.

Fire can symbolize anger, hostility, or rage that is suppressed and in need of release. Only by befriending our shadow, do we make the unconscious conscious, and come to know balance. Those things we fear or make us feel uncomfortable about others are those things we have not yet accepted within ourselves . Fire also represents life energy, our source of power and inspiration, creativity and gifts. It is up to us to pay attention to what is brewing or erupting within us, and to recognize we have the choice how to harness and direct our energy.

Dragons are also magical creatures. Tapping into our dragon power is accepting the dragon within.  They represent innate abilities to transform how we perceive and experience what is happening in ourselves and the world.  We each feel the way into what it is to stand in our power, speak our truth, love all parts of ourselves and be our own best friend.

3 Tips to Let your Spirit Rise

Everything about existence invites you to let your spirit rise.   In other words, you are getting a better sense of what it is to recognize what it is to be human and what it feels like to be truly alive. Reflect on three tips to live a more heartfelt life:

1) Love everything. See everything is a call for love.

2) Forgive everyone.  Humans know not what they do.

3) Laugh more often. Feel an amazing lightness of being.

The secret to living fully

The secret to living fully is to see things as the Soul or highest possible perspective sees them.   That is, the Soul does not judge. It does not believe or disbelieve.  It does not register significance or insignificance.  The Soul does not fear.  What specifically can you do to live fully? Consider these five points:

1) Love with equanimity.  Is the Soul's Way or Divine Way to love universally and unconditionally.  This is about seeing through your own conditioned filters, beyond judgement, to recognize the same light in everyone.  Be like the sun.  It shines on everyone and does not make choices.

2) View every experience as a chance for Soul lessons.   Be aware that as Soul comes to recognize things, it is rejuvenated or transformed, then the body and mind follow.  Lessons are available in illness, relationships, financial challenges, mental confusion, emotional imbalances.  Any perceived adversity blocks the experience of unlimited being and infinite abundance that is known through living fully.

3) Offer humble service.  This is a Self-less Path. Help for the sake of helping.  Love as its natural.  Give because you can. Virtue can be measured by high-level Spiritual being.  As you offer unconditionally- loving service, universal peace and forgiveness, perceived difficulties dissolve, spiritual debt (karma) is paid. What expands within cannot be described.

4) Show respect and compassion for all creatures. See yourself mirrored in all you encounter.  Recognize inter-dependence in the web of life, that everything is of equal value and part of a delicate balance. Nothing is better or more useful than anything else.  We depend on all else to survive and thrive.

5) Take full responsibility for how you respond to life.  You are the source of your own perception.  To see only messages of love and harmony in all you experience is to see as the omniscient Spirit does. Such is the essence of soulful living.
