Three views of Life

Our view on a given situation depends on our magnification, that is, our relative physical, mental emotional closeness to or distance from it. What may be viewed as a conflict or issue close-up may seem like part of a larger harmonious system from a wider vantage point.  Where one person sees a source of tension, another sees as a passing wave in the vast ocean of order. All views are equally correct as they are simply different points of view. How we experience life varies based on our level of consciousness.  Let's reflect on three views on life;

1. As Completely Random

We can look at life from an extremely passive perspective: assuming our existence is a bit precarious, that we have little or no control over things, not over how we came to be born, or who our parents and social conditions are or how we make our way through existence.  Some people view themselves as a pure accident, that everything is a random occurrence, from how the Earth and life came to be to more complex interactions.  What if things that happen inside or external to our bodies, felt like they do not belong or do not even feel connected to other happenings? Does life sometimes feel like it is a thing that happens to you?

2. As Controlled by External Authority

Another view on life is everything that occurs unfolds under the authority of a higher force beyond our control that we somehow feel obliged to obey.  From this view, we are at the mercy of the world around us, still, to a degree helpless, yet having a slight influence on the direction of our lives, provided we follow the rules which have been laid out for us. Sometimes we may push the envelope or bend the rules. As confidence grows, we may also rediscover a journey to reclaim personal power. Our sense of identity, success and self-worth may all seem to be wrapped up in the results of our actions.

3. As Energy

To see that everything is a play of energy pulsing on and off in space, changes how we perceive and interact with what occurs. If energy is us, flows within, through and beyond us, and we decide how to respond to everything, then personal responsibility takes on new signficance. We move through perceptions of order and disorder, love and fear, pleasure and pain like waves, with opportunity toa gain insight. As we realize this, we no longer panic about whatever is arising. From this view, at every moment, everyone has access to the same patterns of energy.  We each have unique filters, conditionings and ways of experiencing.  The moment we see space is connective, we begin to understand that we are not exclusively a body or what creates our adopted identity.  The stream of a candle is a stream of hot gas just like each human is a complex flow of energy that is whirling and dancing through space. What happens as fear ceases to control our life choices? We may fear on the surface of getting burnt by fire, getting sick, losing a relationship, your job, a contract or something else we currently hold dear.  Yet, we can come to see a continuity of energy flow, the rhythm of comings and goings.

Ultimately, the perspective we take on life and a given situation, is based on our self- and wider insight into consciousness. Being in control and being ourselves cannot be understood without recognizing something out of control and what it is to not be ourselves.  Yet, our attention is captured by what is moving in the foreground rather than what is in the background and relatively still. We actually notice far more detail. Our views on ourselves, and life and our conditions, are limited to what we are taught is important. We pay attention only to what our values define as our priorities.  As our perception expands, what we notice changes. How we spend time also changes.

5 Tips to feel more joy

The conditioned mind is shifting how it perceives and processes energy. We initially sense intermittent serendipity.  Then, it is as if random acts or events are occurring.  Next, right on cue, deja-vus and coincidences arise.  We come to sense increasing synchronicity until it feels every encounter and experience in our lives is interconnected. The more clarity we get about our passion, the more we unleash untapped inner power, the more we naturally share our unique gifts. We are magically inspired what to do with it.  As this evokes joy, we tune into and live in a higher vibration. Consider 7 tips to raise our pleasure threshold ;

1. Engage in breathwork

Whether we explore Rebirthing, Holotropic, Cathartic, Reichian or Integrative breathwork, Pranayama or  some combination of deep connected breathing techniques, this is a useful step to access and release emotions which offers glimpses of inner peace.  The more we tune into the rhythm of the breath, the more we get a sense of which emotions drive us and when, the more interconnected events and encounters grow self-evident.

2. Uncover limiting core beliefs

Negative or limiting beliefs are the filters through which we are taught to see ourselves and the world.   So long as we are unconscious, self-defeating patterns continue.  Awakening is about growing aware of the origins of our behaviours so we can allow healing or energetic recalibration to occur.

3. Empower yourself

Standing in our power implies we are willing to recognize our misperceptions and shift our fear-based beliefs to unconditionally loving ones. This is about accepting and integrating all experiences as part of the whole.  It is also about recognizing that negative emotions are pointers and gauges for how much we love or reject ourselves.

4. Speaking our truth

Part of the deepening process of self empowerment involves getting clear on our passion and sharing that openly. The more we speak and express our truth creatively, the more we begin to live our truth rather than presenting different personas to different people in different settings. Speaking our truth is one way to raise self esteem and confidence. We are letting go of masks or identities which are incompatible with our soul.

5. Act on life purpose

This is about actually doing and being what and why we exist.  Once we are fully conscious of our passion or core reason for being, then it is up to us to translate or express that for others. The mind can never quiet until we recall or uncover our unique gifts and find the courage to take steps to use this to enrich the world. It is about noticing and following synchronicities, and allowing the truth to flow naturally without fear. Being authentic is the epitome of fearlessness.

The Power of Letting go

The power of letting go of our mind, ego and expectations is often underestimated.  This is about allowing things to be as they are, allowing energy to flow, without interference.  Fear is powerful energetic interference. It prevents us from seeing and experiencing limitless possibilities.

The part of us that sees the big picture is not the ego, it is awareness of the energy of the big picture, the overview of our lives, and how things unfold freely without judgment. Its helpful to develop an awareness of the presence and impact of judgment on our lives. Eliminating judgment is not practical.  We are given ego for a purpose just as our ability to judge has its place. And yet, living from a place of fear blocks the flow of love and all it reveals.

Noticing sensations we are experiencing however, is not the same as judging them.  It is judgment that has the power to interfere with the flow. Simple observation is letting things be as they are. When we do not attach or cling, letting go is not necessary.  Accept whatever forms the sensations take within.  Know everything is energy that is self-adjusting and self-regulating. Listen and be guided by intuition. We cannot begin to imagine what is coming our way.

5 Ways to facilitate change

Whatever the vision you hold in your mind, the moment is ripe to allow the universe to facilitate change. You may be asking what are effective strategies to get on with this? Consider 5 ways:

1. Relax

We are so well-conditioned to want to influence, make or force things to happen on our schedule. There is a fine line between creating a vision and letting it go.  No one recipe exists. Each of us uncover what works in practice, via direct experience. We are not meant to control everything. Learning how to relax is about unlearning all those things that evoke stress and resistance.

2. Know its done

Whether its a new job, career, relationship, geographic move, house sale or other vision you hold, its importnat to know and repeated tell yourself its already done. It comes naturally to act as if when you feel confidence and see the world as if your vision is already materialized.  Some people create physical vision boards, 3-D models or quantum, multi-dimensional visions of a new reality.

3.  Feel the way here

Focus energy and excitement.  Feel what stimulates and gets your energy flowing. POsitive and negative energy can both be intense and both are the same energy that invites you to recognize how you are choosing to feel yourself, the path, the vision and blocks you create to hold yourself back or catapult yourself forward.

4. See everything as energy

From the moment you cease seeing events and instead, register everything as energy, you only see flow or blocks. Ask yourself when it feels you go with the current or feel like you paddle upstream.  When everything in your midst is energy and how you respond or not echoes energy, then how you experience experience changes.

5. Meditate

Meditation can involve gardening, cooking, writing, playing music or engaging in some other creative endeavour that raises your energy.  You can train the mind, close your eyes and visualize, change brainwaves, consciously alter how your body projects and experiences this world. Allow yourself to see yourself from a whole new vantage point.

“Can you accept the notion that once you change your internal state, you don't need the external world to provide you with a reason to feel joy, gratitude, appreciation, or any other elevated emotion?” -Dr. Joe Dispenza

“A memory without the emotional charge is called wisdom.” -Dr. Joe Dispenza

9 Ways to Re-program the mind to get what you want

How many are aware of the origin of our thoughts? Many people are under mind control.  To free the mind, we have to question our reality and what we are creating for ourselves. The surce of all misery on the planet can be linked back to ego desire.  Is it easier to change your thinking or the world? Ponder nine ways to reprogram the mind;

1. Know how the mind works

Only 5% of our behaviour is conscious (analytical).  95% of what governs our behaviour comes from our subconscious mind (which is survival-based).  The only way to overcome what holds us back is to reprogram the subconscious mind.  Fritz Perls says, "Lose your mind and come to your senses." In other words, get out of your head and get into your heart.  What is the conscious mind? It deals with the past, present and future (understands in terms of linear time). It is about what contributes to identity or sense of self.

What is the subconscious mind? It is always awake, taking in information even when you are sleeping.  It expresses itself through the body, lives in the present moment. It is non-linear. If something happened to you 5yrs or 10yrs ago, the body experiences it as if its happening now. Lingering tension is not time-related. It conveys messages from the subconscious which also works through images. This is about taking responsibilty for what we are watching and feeling. Everything we see is stored in the subconscious which invites opening or deepening feeling centres.

2. Trust

When we tell ourselves in thought, words or action that we cannot do something, we are allowing mind to limit our experience. When we trust that something is happening even when the mind cannot see the means or way to do it, but focus on knowing we are doing it anyway, this is trusting intuition.

As you trust yourself more, you grow more intuitive and reprogram the subconscious mind.  You are entering the realm where nothing is logical. The conscious mind tells you this is crazy, that you do not need it, but the subconscious mind knows the truth.  Only synchronicity exists. The subconscious mind is a supercomputer and can do a zillion things now. You simply allow it to manifest abundance and other things or block it.

We have to place ourselves in an environment that compliments our energy. We also need to create images that clear our negative energy and help us lead the life we want.  The conscious mind is a good liar. It tells you that you are undeserving. Subconscious mind reveals the truth in the state of our body.  The universe gives us what we feel in our body.

3. Reframe value

Imagine money as energy currency.  We are the intrinsic value within ourselves. How we view our intrinsic value affects how we manifest money which itself is neutral.  Money is a medium of exchange.  Reframing self-worth implies being detached from money and the imagined need for it.  Only then can you step into and vibrate from the realm of abundance.  Knowing what you want is important but we have to honour our worthiness through honouring everything around us.  We have to see that we are priceless and that everything is coming from you.  People who know their self worth are wealthy.  We place ourselves in or project environments that compliment our energy.

4. Total body awareness

Absorb yourself into the present moment.  This is where our subconscious mind lives. We have to see that always living in the head, we are disconnected from the heart.  The heart does not have to think, it only has to feel. Meditation gives us clarity of mind. We grow sensitive of our own impulses.  Every day, we grow more aware of our habits. Surrender the persona who is your mask. We are not only pure energy, but nature's indefinable.  Take time to walk through nature. We have to re-program the subconscious mind.  What kind of environment are we in? Everything in our body is based on our environment. Its a lot easier to see how tense our muscles are by growing aware of how we breathe, how deep.

5. Break your routine

Routines serve us.  Growing conscious of our routines and why we do the things you do, serves us. Its about forming new habits that work in our favor.  The more we do something, the more it becomes a habit. Move out of comfort zones.  Negative people are projections of what we need to work on ourselves. The secret is how we react to them. The attitude is key here. Breaking habits in terms of lifestyle. As we take the first step, we put things in motion that enables us to become the greatest versions of ourselves. We have to break the habit of ways our subconscious mind takes in information. We have a choice, we are co-creators of our reality. We liberate ourselves from he routine that is no longer serving us.

6.  Change our beliefs (or let them go)

During the first seven years of life, you are programming the subconscious mind. We are told things during the first seven years that  contribute to our sense of self.  Once you start questioning beliefs/habits consciously, you start reprogramming the subconscious (feeling) mind. If you think you are not good enough, you can ask why and show yourself that you are worthy.  Change habitats to change habits. Repreogram the subconscious mind become more of thee greateest version of you. Forgive yourself. We do not have to blame parents or role models for who we are. The secret is in not externalizing our power. Many of us attack what we hate rather than promote what we love. Be the water, the super alchemist.  In changing our belief systems, the words we speak form our belief systems. We can all learn from each other's perspectives. Right now, a new world is being formed. This is about embracing the power of Now. Losing thebcomeing the senses. This is how you reprogram the subconscious mind. A lot of people live in repeat based on uncosncious memories. Get into creating new memories. Be open to new expereinces.  New memories become your new subconscious mind.

7. Move regularly

Exert yourself physically.  When we are not in our own bio-rhythm, life is out of balance.  Moving into your body is speaking the same language as the subconscious mind.  The subconscious mind works through imagery.  We create the image we want the subconscious image to portray.  We do not get what we want, we get a mirror of what the body vibrates.

8. Priming the subconscious mind

The subconscious mind works through association. Visualize a color and and object that is that color.  Prime your subconscious mind with healthy raw food. Eat the best foods and treat your body well.  Spend time in nature and this aids you to function more in the present moment. The more you tap into your subconscious mind, the more you reconfigure the master computer.  The more you move into your emotions, you learn more about how you feel.  Once you grow more aware of how you feel, this changes everything.

9. Align words, thoughts and actions

When thought, word and deed are aligned, life is in harmony.  We upgrade, update and live a better version of ourselves.  Do we embody self-love in all our actions? What are we doing right now to cultivate self -love for ourselves? What else could we be doing?
