How can you develop superhuman powers?

So, you desire to develop abilities that exceed what you consider to be 'ordinary' or 'normal' human powers. What is your baseline? That is, what is your reference for 'normal?'

If you don't have a baseline or, have some idea of powers you seek to develop, then its harder to get ahead.  For now, you might start to identify some key stepping stones:

1) What kinds of abilities do you wish to develop?  Light exists that you do not see with basic human vision.  Sound exists at frequencies that you do not necessarily hear.  Any or all of your senses can be drastically expanded.  Energy fluctuates in ways that strech or distort your notion of reality.  Opening your mind is key to finding training.

2) How did you learn about them?  Maybe you read about things you aim to learn or, someone planted a seed in your mind.  Maybe an situation sparked your belief.  Follow the thread back to better understand yourself. This is crucial. Why you want to grow in a particular way determines whether you achieve it and for how long. Ego doesn't help you.

3) Who can do what you would like to do?  If you have seen or heard about humans levitating, projecting a second physical energy body identical to the one they already have or, individuals defying other assumed laws of physics, you may wish to learn more.  What do you know of such persons? Are they martial artists, shamans, spiritual gurus or fictional comic superheros?  Each path requires commitment.  Will you follow suit?

4) What are your underlying motivations?  The echo of your thoughts guides your motivation.  You decide what is good, bad, necessary or unnecessary.  You activate a chain reaction of inner influence at cell level.  Whether you grasp that every cell in your physical body thinks influences whether you believe in shapeshifting and other potential. Inaudible sound and invisible light affect how you think and behave, even now.

Could ordinary normal human power be a person's untapped strength, natural ability? Then the question would be how does a person tap into their natural strength, gift if you will?

I love the idea of expanding our senses beyond the norm. I enjoyed how you laid this out, very good.

Liara,
The only superhuman power I would like is to have the ability to communicate what I am thinking to the computer without typing. The multi-tasking possibilities are endless.

Bruno, you make an astute observation. Some people have not yet discerned their natural abilities. Until we each do so, we have no point of reference for something beyond them. What you consider ordinary, another person may consider to be extraordinary.

Mark, the term 'normal' may evoke discomfort and confusion. Human beings are conditioned to compare themselves to others and to judge their capabilities based on some hierarchy, view of superiority or inferiority, or another set of external standards. I would invite each person to reflect and redefine their view of normal for themselves, that is, to resist comparison and judgment. You are always your your own fluctuating 'norm.'
